Confetti Systems are a design duo who started out just making decorations for friends parties which has escalated to an international brand whom work with installations collaborating with all sorts of fashion houses, musicians and retail stores. What really strikes me about their work is their makeshift sensibility and relationships with materials. Using really simple materials such as various tissue papers and light plastics, they create these fantastic visual feasts for the eyes. And a fantastic sense of sparkle.
I have tried to mirror this into my own work, playing with different ways of tasseling tissue papers, contrasting and layering different textures and opacity's.
